As Vice President, Hari oversees all the key functional areas at Walmart Labs Bangalore, from Global eCommerce to Stores Information Technology. Hari leads more than 1,300 plus talented technologists in Bangalore, who are innovating to deliver a simple and seamless experience for Walmart customers. This tech talent solves the biggest and most complex business challenges and delivers innovative solutions for the world’s largest, Fortune’s number 1, retailer. Critical business functions from Bangalore develop solutions that integrate digital and physical shopping experiences. This enables customers to get the products they want, in the way they choose, whether it be in stores, online or via mobile devices.

Hari’s previous experience with Yahoo! and Flipkart is testimony to his ability to lead large technology organizations. He shaped the strategy for Supply Chain during his tenure with Flipkart and built the technology stack for EKart. At Yahoo! he played a key role in the substantial growth of the center whilst working on a range of end to end consumer products. His knowledge in eCommerce and Supply Chain to deliver technology solutions to customers and teams is well known.

On the personal front, Hari and his wife Lata are parents to twin girls who are in high school currently. When he is not working, Hari loves to read and listen to all kinds of music from English rock to Indian classical, and Bollywood. He also loves to travel which will certainly help in his new role. 

He has received three patents for - ‘Method & Apparatus for configuring a camera through external means’, ‘Intelligent camera flash system’ and ‘System method and apparatus for portable digital identity’.  

Hari holds an M.S (Computer Science) from Iowa State University and has an MBA from Haas School or Business.
