Sanat Rao is a Venture Partner at IDG Ventures India where he manages the Seed Investment program to identify and invest in disruptive early-stage deep technology firms. He also works closely with the IDG Portfolio on Investments and M&A. He has over 20 years of experience in the industry across Venture Capital, M&A and Operational roles.Prior to IDG Ventures, Sanat was a Partner, Corporate Development and M&A at ISPIRT, where he was responsible for 12 M&A transactions in the Indo-US corridor. He was an active angel investor with investments in Artificial Intelligence and SaaS companies.Sanat is an Advisor to the Saha Fund, India's first venture fund for women entrepreneurs, and is an active mentor at Microsoft Ventures India.
